Team,

As we enter the summer months, I find myself appreciating both the slower pace at home - less scheduled activities, more chances to break and learn new routines - and the opportunity to prepare for the rush that lies ahead in the fall. This season of transition feels particularly meaningful to me this year, as I also mark six months since stepping into the CEO role at Lexitas.

Taking on this position in January was both exciting and humbling. I have leaned heavily on Gary, our board, the Executive Leadership Team, and so many of you to help identify what is working and where we have room for improvement. Through these conversations, what has delighted me most is the incredible reputation Lexitas has in our industry - as a valued partner to our clients, a preferred employer to all of you, and an ideal acquirer for entrepreneurs who want to join a larger platform without losing the culture they have cultivated. That reputation is a testament to your hard work and dedication.

That being said, we are not perfect and should always strive to be better. Change has certainly been a theme this year, including saying goodbye to the RASi business, welcoming new colleagues, launching innovative products like Deposition Insights Plus and ELI, and expanding our Process Service and eLaw footprints into new states.

Despite the change, some core things remain constant. We are still powered by passionate, committed colleagues who live out our values of service, teamwork, and respect every day. For all of this - and for your openness to try new things while delivering excellence - I am deeply grateful.

Thank you for embracing change and for continuing to make Lexitas a place we can all be proud of.

With appreciation,
Nishat

Interview of CEO, Nishat Mehta

Debbie Weaver recently sat down with Lexitas’ new CEO, Nishat Mehta, for an in-depth conversation.

They covered everything from his dynamic career journey (business intelligence to legal services? Yep, he’s done it!) to his thoughts on leadership, teamwork, and why community engagement is more than just good business – it’s the right thing to do.
