Tell us a little bit about your current position here at Lexitas.
In my current role, I oversee all aspects of the Lexitas CRM platform (Salesforce). I collaborate with IT Security on multiple SOC audits and partner with the Master Data Hub (MDH) team to strengthen our data quality across the organization. I also manage multiple providers and vendors supporting our CRM initiatives. Additionally, I lead multiple daily Scrum calls to ensure projects stay on track, are delivered on time, and align with our business goals.
What kinds of jobs and industries did you work in before you started at Lexitas?
I’m an IT professional and Certified Scrum Master with over 20 years of experience. My career spans project and program management, supply chain, finance, and master data, with expertise in ERP and CRM system integrations. I’ve worked with both private companies and Fortune 500 organizations across industries including legal, energy, and petrochemical.
What aspects of Lexitas excite you the most, and why?
I appreciate our company culture and business environment, where I have the opportunity to work with talented, passionate, and genuine colleagues. The fast-paced atmosphere and the variety of projects within Lexitas IT excite me the most. There’s always something new to learn and deliver, which keeps the work dynamic, engaging, and rewarding.
What advice would you offer to other Lexitas team members?
Your approach should align with your personal and professional goals. My advice: embrace Lexitas’s SPIRITED values, stay adaptable to changes, and promote our company whenever possible.
What is your favorite conspiracy theory?
I don’t believe in conspiracy theories, but I find this one interesting: “Moon Landing Hoax.” I recently watched the movie Take Me to the Moon, which made me think about how these theories persist. 😊
What's your favorite way to spend a day off from work?
I enjoy staying active with recreational tennis and pickleball, and I also love attending performing arts performances and social events.
Do you have any pets?
Yes! I have two spoiled cats: Smokey and Britney Gray.
What is your favorite TV show?
From the classics, I love Friends. It was one of the shows that helped me embrace American pop culture when I first moved here. 😊
Would you rather fight 100 duck-sized horses or one horse-sized duck?
It depends! I’ve seen plenty of IT challenges that felt like 100 duck-sized horses charging at me. So I’ll take the horse-sized duck—at least I only have to negotiate with one oversized bird. 😊
What is one thing that can instantly make your day better?
A strong, creamy cup of coffee in the morning—one sip and my day instantly gets better.

Tell us a little bit about your current position here at Lexitas.
I have been with Lexitas since January 2022. I am the Facilities Manager for the MW, TN, and FL BU’s. It is my job to make sure your office has it supplies it needs and is in working order. I deal with Property managers and vendors alike. I also plan fun events for the BU’s and the MFK charity event Santa Station.
What kinds of jobs and industries did you work in before you started at Lexitas?
I was an operation manager in the Ancillary Automotive industry for 20 years. For clarity, when you go to a dealer and buy a car, they offer you Gap, tire & wheel, windshield protection, extended warranties, all that was admin by the company I worked for.
What aspects of Lexitas that excite you the most, and why?
My favorite part of Lexitas is the people I work with. It is awesome to work with such amazing people! People I would call friends.
What advice would you offer to other Lexitas team members?
A positive attitude goes a long way!
What kind of music do you like?
Country, Christian, and Christmas!
What type of wild animal do you wish you could have as a pet?
A bear! Who doesn’t want their own Teddy bear?!
How do you relax after a hard day of work?
Crafts, bowling, hanging with my husband and lake life in the summer!!
If you found $20 on the ground, what would you do?
If there is no one around, I would keep it and get lunch! If there were people around, I would see if anyone dropped some money.
What is your favorite holiday?
Thanksgiving. Just family, no other distractions.
What's the best concert you've ever been to?
Toby Keith! Saw him several times!!

Tell us a little bit about your current position here at Lexitas.
In my current role, I serve as the IT Director for the East Coast. My team and I support offices from Boston to Miami, and pretty much every time zone-friendly emergency in between. I’m also the primary point of contact for our AWS cloud environment, and we help manage our 8x8 voice platform, so if it runs in the cloud or rings on someone’s desk, it’s probably crossed my radar. I also serve as a backup for several key systems and senior leaders in IT, which means my job is equal parts planning, troubleshooting, and keeping things fast, secure, and reliably boring (the best kind of IT).
What kinds of jobs and industries did you work in before you started at Lexitas?
I joined Lexitas through the PM Legal/eLaw acquisition when I was 21. Before that, I did a short stint in a call center doing tech support, but Lexitas has really been my first “real” job, the place where I started my career. Thirteen-plus years later, I’m still here…
What are some of the biggest life lessons you’ve learned while working at Lexitas?
Time management is everything. In IT, the work never shows up one task at a time, it shows up all at once: acquisitions to onboard, new software to evaluate, and unexpected issues that pop up when you least expect them. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is to stay calm, triage fast, communicate early, and protect focus time, because if you don’t drive your day, your day will definitely drive you.
What aspects of Lexitas excite you the most, and why?
Tech moves fast, and if you’re not constantly learning, you get left behind, so I love that Lexitas is always pushing forward and looking for better ways to work. We’re focused on innovation and excellent service, and that translates into real opportunities for IT to make people’s jobs easier and more efficient. Also, the people here genuinely care, and that makes the hard problems feel worth solving.
What advice would you offer to other Lexitas team members?
Use your PTO, no seriously. We all get busy and start pushing vacations “until things calm down”… but the truth is, things don’t magically calm down. Taking time off helps you reset, de-stress, and come back sharper. And it doesn’t have to be a two-week trip, grabbing a couple days here and there for a 4‑day weekend can work wonders and that’s my go to.
How do you relax after a hard day of work?
If I’m not spending time with family, you’ll probably find me listening to audiobooks or at my PC playing something like The Division 2 or Stellaris.
If you had to wear one color for the rest of your life, which one would it be?
Navy blue. It goes with everything and it’s always in style.
What was your favorite age growing up?
Honestly, I loved high school. I wasn’t the most popular kid, but I had a ton of fun and made some friends that I still talk to now. I’d say 16–17 where I was old enough to feel independent, but young enough that “being responsible” wasn’t a full-time job yet.
Would you rather cook or order in?
Cook, without question. I love cooking for family and friends whenever I get the chance. I couldn’t do it for a living, but I can do it for bragging rights. I’ll put up my baked mac and cheese recipe up against anyone.
What are some of your hobbies or favorite activities?
A mix of playing guitar, video games, and bowling. I play guitar in a reggae band, and I’ve played in front of a lot of different crowds, but the coolest moment was getting to play in the middle of Times Square a couple years ago. That’s one of those “wait… is this real?” memories.
Would you rather have your dishes or clothes be magically clean?
Dishes. One thousand percent. I don’t mind doing laundry, but dishes have never been my love language.
If you got seed money to start your own business, what business would you start?
Something music-related, probably a rehearsal and recording studio for artists. A creative space with great gear, great sound, and the kind of vibe that makes people want to stay and build.

Tell us a little bit about your current position here at Lexitas.
I’ve been Production Lead for 8.5 years now, starting with Marshall’s Business Records before becoming Lexitas. I take my work very seriously, my work reflects me, and the clients expect top notch work. It’s my job to put lipstick and mascara on the recs that I get and make them presentable for court. And that can be a challenge some days. I have a very computer savvy coworker who is extremely patient and has taught me so much through the years. I’m so thankful for him.
What kinds of jobs and industries did you work in before you started at Lexitas?
I have a variety of past jobs that include Receptionist at a Veterinary Hospital, decorating cookies and cookie cakes for 2 different Cookie Bouquet’s, and even delivering auto parts. With each job I learned numerous things. I always say, just be patient teaching me, I am reliable and dependable and will show up for work every day to mess things up until I learn them. And once I do, look out!
What aspects of Lexitas that excite you the most, and why?
The aspects of this job are very interesting. To be honest, I never even knew a job like this existed. I have learned so much about computers and documents. I will admit it was very overwhelming when I started, but I was always up the challenge and never made excuses for what needed to be done. I like to think ahead on projects and never shy away from them. I always say that I worked at a Vet Hospital for 8 years, so I’ve learned that there’s more than one way to skin a cat. And my sense of humor can be a bit dark at times, but it’s better to laugh than cry.
What advice would you offer to other Lexitas team members?
I always try to comfort people, especially those who just start, and let them know that we were all new once, mistakes will happen, learn from them. Correct them and try to remember them, don’t make excuses. Mistakes make us better at what we do.
What's the best movie you've seen recently?
I’m kind of a home body. We have a decent library of 80’s movies that we always watch.
If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you?
Lily Munster would be my go-to, mainly because it’s The Munster’s. I love all things Halloween, it lives in my heart, soul, house, and office 365. I also enjoy listening to my 80’s hair band music, on the weekends. I tell people I jump in my time machine when I get off work and head straight to the 80’s and stay there until bedtime Sunday. Really helps me unwind and soothe the savage beast inside me.
Would you rather explore all of the ocean or all of space?
I would like to explore all the ocean, but maybe space for a day, just to be weightless!
What is a jingle/silly song that you know every word to?
I think I will show my age if the first jingle that pops in my head is the Oscar Meyer Weiner song.
What is your "guilty pleasure" movie, book, or show?
I enjoy crime shows and documentaries on crime. It just fascinates me that some peoples mind can be so disturbed. Learning what makes the criminal mind tick.
You would receive a lottery jackpot of one million dollars, but any time you forgot something, it's gone forever. Would you take the jackpot? Why?
Taking the million dollars would seem like the easy answer. But I would forget that I had it, so I would lose just as fast as I received it.
