What a Crazy Year…

Even though 2020 was a tough year for everybody, there were still a bunch of great and fun things that happened for our teams professionally and personally.

Since we were unable to dedicate time and resources into the employee newsletter last year, we wanted to take a moment to look back on some of the Lexitas highlights of 2020. Enjoy!

WASHINGTON RECORDS

The lovely JS&L team provided a team photo shortly after they joined Lexitas. Looking great, y’all!

BRYAN RECORDS

The Bryan team had a lot of fun with their 2019 Halloween. The commitment to group costumes is amazing!

To commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness, they had an office Pink Out Event.

In January, the crew celebrated sports day!

Of course, everybody loves to go green for St. Paddy’s Day.

And here is everyone for Wear Red Day, which happens in early February.

In January of last year, Kelsie Terry gave birth to their beautiful baby boy, Sawyer.

Finally, the team hosted a blood drive for Heart Awareness Month, which produced enough donations to save up to 60 lives!

TEXAS REPORTING

Here in Houston, we love our baby showers!

Our Texas team also directly supported Project Steno, which is an introductory program for students. Its purpose is to introduce the court reporting profession to students who don’t know anything about the industry and provides them training for six to eight weeks to identify students who would be great candidates for our schools (free of charge, and machines are loaned out to them).

And here in the corporate office, we celebrated Valentine’s Day by doing what we do best - eating delicious food.

And in order to work off those extra pounds, the Houston Reporting office held a Biggest Loser contest. The winner was Cale McCabe, losing 7.52% body weight during the competition.
